Cardi B’s beau Stefon Diggs has been sued by his ex-girlfriend Mulan Hernandez, who allegedly attacked her and tried to silence her.
The “Basketball Wives Orlando” alum filed a countersuit against the NFL star in April after first accusing him of attacking her in a separate lawsuit in February.
She denied Diggs’ allegations in the Houston-based filing, claiming he was physically aggressive during their brief relationship in 2024.
Hernandez, 24, said the New England Patriots star, 31, allegedly attacked her from behind and punched her in the back of the head on June 7, 2024.
The alleged incident left the television personality with a concussion.
She claimed that Diggs “went to great lengths to induce (her) to sign a non-disclosure agreement so that (his) malicious and egregious acts would be kept from the public eye by the NFL.”
The wide receiver acted “desperately” and sent an assistant to Houston to convince Hernandez to sign an NDA.
Although it doesn’t appear the reality star signed an agreement, the outlet noted that her attorney tried to convince Diggs’ attorney to hold his client accountable in November 2024.
According to the filing, Hernandez requested that he be awarded a minimum of $250,000 and a maximum of $1 million for damages he received from physical and emotional pain, along with medical expenses.
A representative for Diggs was not immediately available to Page Six for comment.
Diggs originally sued a third party, Hernandez and Brianna Mack, accusing them of assault, emotional distress, trespassing, conspiracy and extortion in February.
In the filing, the professional soccer player claimed to allow the duo to stay at his apartment in Houston.
Recalling the morning of June 7, 2024, he claimed that Hernandez assaulted him and threatened to destroy his apartment after a night of partying.
“Hernandez burst into the game room from the bathroom, visibly drunk and upset. (Diggs) told Hernandez to leave, but she refused.”
“(Diggs) attempted to diffuse the situation by attempting to remove herself from Jones’ line of fire, but she continued to blame him,” the lawsuit continued.
He claimed that Hernandez threw his video game console on the floor and threw his cell phone in the bathroom before damaging his $130,000 watch.
The former Minnesota Vikings player claims his ex punched him in the chest several times and used a weapon to threaten him, pointing out that Mack was present.
Diggs claimed that Hernandez slipped on the wet floor, but vehemently denied fighting back.
He also claimed that Hernandez went to the doctor that night and received medication after experiencing nausea.
Diggs said Hernandez also went to the doctor on June 14, 2024, and “accidentally” claimed he was hit “in the back of the head with a fist.”
He also claimed that Hernandez’s attorney stated that she was living with Diggs and was pregnant with his child when the alleged attack occurred.
“In the weeks and months that followed, Hernandez and Mack, individually and with the assistance of their attorneys, attempted to use the newly spun story to extort millions of dollars from (Diggs),” the lawsuit states.
“(diggs) brings this case because the accused will not fall victim to any attempt to extort money from him.
At the time, Diggs asked his ex and Mack for between $250,000 and $1 million.
Diggs, who went public with his romance with Cardi B, 32, in May, is also facing a paternity lawsuit from a woman named Eileen Lopera, who claims to be the father of her child, who was born in April.
After the petition was filed in December 2024, Diggs responded in July, stating that he was not sure if he was the father.
Meanwhile, Diggs is expecting his first child with Cardi amidst divorce proceedings from her estranged husband, Offset, with whom she shares three children.
