Women’s basketball league Unrivaled has partnered with Studio71 to manage its digital presence and enhance its social media and YouTube efforts.
This deal is a sign of the times for the league and Studio71. As a fledgling sports venture, Unrivaled needs to have a strong presence on major social platforms to reach fans and potential consumers of the 3-on-3 basketball game. A big part of Studio71’s philosophy is to drive subscribers to Unrivaled’s YouTube platform.
“Unrivaled is rewriting the future of women’s basketball and redefining how athletes and fans connect,” said John Riering, Unrivaled Chief Content Officer. “Working with Studio71 will allow us to tell the stories of our athletes, showcase their talents, and reach new audiences on every platform our fans watch on.”
Unrivaled was founded in 2022 and launched its first season earlier this year. The 2026 window will expand even further with the signing of many new teams. Studio71 aims to increase chatter and anticipation for the league by focusing on engaging basketball fans through branded content. With a focus on audience development, Studio71 will produce game highlights and clips to maximize Unrivaled’s media rights deals around the world.
“Unrivaled is shaping the future of sports content with its innovative coverage, star power and fan-first mindset,” said Studio71 co-CEO Adam Boorstin. “We are proud to provide our expertise in channel management and content strategy to expand Unrivaled’s reach around the world.”
Unrivaled was co-founded by WNBA players Nafeesa Collier and Brianna Stewart.
