The Mediterranean Mediaset España Group, which strengthens the global footprint of Spanish dramas, has licensed the first season of its hit-period series “La Faveita 1922” to HBO Max Latin America.
The deal is the first collaboration between the two companies, bringing total sales of the series to 70 regions around the world, consolidating its status as one of the most widely sold Spanish dramas in recent years.
“La Faveita 1922,” produced by Mediaset España in collaboration with Studiocanal-backed producers, premiered in March on Mediaset’s free aerial network Telecinco, with a viewer share of 17.1%.
It became one of Spain’s most streamed titles in the early weeks of online.
Combining gorgeous production values, emotional storytelling and a powerful female ensemble, the series has burned strong word of mouth both domestically and internationally.

The drama between Seville and Madrid in 1922 focuses on Elena de Valmonte’s marquise ahead of her time as she fled oppressive marriages to open a restaurant that would both be a sanctuary of independence and a battlefield of ambition and survival.
Even before its domestic debut, “La Faveita 1922” sparked strong market demand, with Mediterráneo securing advance sales in more than 20 regions in Europe and the United States.
