Zach Bryan uses his music to speak out against the ongoing raids under the current policies of the US Immigration Customs (ICE) and President Donald Trump.

In the latest song by the Grammy Award winner, teased him with a short clip on Instagram on Friday, October 3rd, Brian said, “I heard the cop come / Cocky M ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

“And the ice is going to be arrested at your door/I’m going to build a house No one will build it any more/I’ve called/The kids are all scared and alone,” read the lyrics. “The middle finger is rising and does not stop the pretense, bad news, or the decline of red, white, or blue.”

Brian captioned the post with “Fades of Red, White and Blue” in the final line of the song in the clip.

Brian spoke to ICE, a law enforcement agency under the Department of Homeland Security, but he was a longtime supporter of the military. He joined the Navy for eight years after joining the army at the age of 17.

In October 2021, Brian opened in an Instagram post about leaving the Navy. “It really made a guy out of me,” he wrote. “If it had been my decision, I would never have escaped from the world’s biggest navy, but here I am and they kindly praised me for letting me go out of the hospital and playing music.”

“The best eight years of my life have been spent serving the best nations in the whole damn world,” he writes.

Trump and his administration have stepped up massive deportations since returning to the White House in January.

Throughout the past few months, musicians and celebrities have opposed ice attacks and deportation. And the response to the Trump administration’s protests against the Super Bowl is named the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show.

The Puerto Rican rapper, a US citizen, was announced as a performer for the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show on Sunday, September 28th. Bad Bunny chose not to take the Devital Mas Photos World Tour to the US as the Trump administration uses ice.

“Ice will be performing the Super Bowl execution for the Bad Bunny Halftime Show,” said Corey Lewandowski, chief of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) staff, on October 1.

“We cannot provide safe shelters to those illegally in this country,” added Lewandowski. “It’s not the Super Bowl, not elsewhere. We’ll find you, arrest you, put you in detention and deport you.”

On October 3rd, Homeland Security Secretary Christie Noem confirmed that Ice will be “all over” in the Super Bowl and will perform at Levi’s stadium in Santa Clarita, California.

“We’re going to enforce the law,” she said on October 3rd.
