George Clooney is open about family life in Europe.
During his conversation with Esquire, 64-year-old Jay Kelly Starr got a glimpse into his wife Amal Clooney and twins Alexander and Ella living in France.
“You know, we live on a farm in France. The majority of my growing life was on the farm. As a child, I hated the whole idea of it,” he explained. “But now for them, they don’t have on their iPads, do you know? They have to have dinner with adults and incorporate food. They have to live a much better life.”
“I was worried about raising children in Los Angeles in Hollywood culture. They felt they would never have felt a fair shaking in life,” he added. “France – they don’t give s about fame. I don’t want them to roam around worried about paparazzi. I don’t want them to be compared to someone else’s famous children.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the outlet captured a hilarious moment while the family of four enjoyed the food. When George announced his afternoon lunch – served with lemon pasta and fresh tomatoes from his chicken garden, the 47-year-old mom joked that she “didn’t cook it” and was “lucky.” In response, George jokingly asked the twins what happens when their mother cooks the food.

Couples who welcomed twins in June 2017 tend to keep their family life private. In a recent conversation with the glamour, the activist revealed when the guests visited her home, that when she was removing her phone and creating a safe space for a private moment.
“Creating private moments and spaces is becoming more and more difficult, but that’s why we have so much fun at home,” she told the outlet. “Now I have a phone basket that I use to take everyone’s phones away!”
“It’s important to balance that out where you have time with your family and your friends that you feel you can make a safe and candid exchange,” she added. “And you’re going to say that being a parent means you’re more troubled by some of the intrusions, so we’ll do our best we can to minimize the impact on our children, we won’t put our children there.

Despite their family life being private, George can only rave about his little children in an interview. Tickets to the Paradise Actors recently made a sweet update on raising twins at the 2025 Tony Awards.
“They want to see Taylor Swift,” the actor said E! news. “The funniest part is that they don’t know the reference. Robert Denilo is at home and they don’t care, ‘Who is it?” ”
He then reveals that both Ella and Alexander are big evil fans despite their lack of knowledge about the film’s legend. “They are looking forward to the second part,” he told the outlet.
