Return to business.
Nicole Kidman made her first public release following the split from Keith Urban.
The “Practical Magic” star went out to attend Amfer’s auction in Dallas on Saturday, where she presented the award to her “Lio Lion” collaborator, Taylor Sheridan.
At one point, Kidman shared a message about raising our community and enhancing “our common humanity.”
“What Taylor realizes is, like all of us, we are more similar than we are different, and when we look at each other, it’s better, and of course the reason we’re here tonight.”
“A better way to enhance our common humanity than helping to fund bold and innovative research,” she added.
The news surfaced last week that Kidman, 58, and Urban, 57, split up after 19 years of marriage.
“Sometimes, relationships just run courses,” the insider told Page 6, adding that the “perfect couple” star “didn’t want separation and was trying to save things.”
He told multiple sources that the estranged pair had been away “from the beginning of the summer.”
Kidman filed for divorce from a country music crooner the following day, citing “irreconcilable differences” and cited the reasons for their split in reports that Urban had begun to see new women.
An insider close to the actress in “Big Little Lies” told TMZ “All the signs point to the fact that Keith is with another woman.”
However, it remains unknown that he struck suspicions of romance.
“Let’s say Nicole isn’t disputing that, but she’s still shocked by it,” another source added, saying the rumor was “all Nashville.”
Kidman reportedly was saddened by the collapse of her marriage, but he has “go ahead” and focused on caring for her children, sources said exclusively on Thursday.
In her application Tuesday, she asked the court to appoint her as a primary resident of two minor children: Sunday Rose, 17, and 14-year-old Faith Margaret.
Kidman submitted documents regarding the marriage dissolution agreement for the couple before “making appropriate and adequate provisions for the parties’ assets and obligations,” detailed parenting schedules and a parenting plan that is entitled to make decisions on behalf of their daughter.
