Bad Bunny fought back against those who criticized him for being chosen to headline the Super Bowl 2026 Halftime Show.
“You may not know this, but I’m doing a Super Bowl halftime show and I’m so happy and I think everyone is happy about it,” he said in a “Saturday Night Live” monologue.
“Even Fox News!” excluded the Puerto Rican rapper.
The NBC comedy sketch show was cut into mocajed clips of various Fox News hosts saying, “Bad Bunny is my favorite musician and he should be the next president.”
“I’m really excited to be doing the Super Bowl. I know that people all over the world who love my music are happy too,” the 31-year-old “Tití Me Preguntó” singer said before speaking in Spanish.
“In particular, all Latinos and Latinos in the US world who have worked to open doors spoken in Spanish.
“It’s more than a victory for myself, it’s a victory for all of us. Our footprints and contributions in this country can’t take it or erase it,” he added in his native language.
The three Grammy winners concluded his monologue in English.
