Kim Kardashian’s upcoming Elizabeth Taylor Docusaries was announced on the same day her enemy, Taylor Swift, released her latest album, “Life of a Showgirl.”
The three-part production project of Skim’s founder, entitled “Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar,” will be released on Fox Nation on Friday.
“Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar” says, providing an intimate look in the life of one of the most iconic women of the 20th century, stripping away their charm to reveal the forces of nature behind fame.”
“In each episode, we explore how Taylor shattered the glass ceilings of Hollywood, built a billion-dollar business empire and changed the activities of celebrities through her pioneering work in the fight against HIV/AIDS,” the release continued.
Docuseries includes an interview with the 44-year-old Kardashian, who spoke with Taylor for Harper’s Bazaar magazine a few months before he passed away in March 2011 at the age of 79.
The Kardashian star attacked the “Cleopatra” actress in a 2024 interview with the BBC, saying, “I’ve always been drawn to Elizabeth Taylor.
“We were actually supposed to meet up for tea at her house, so she got sick,” Kardashian explained, noting that they bonded with “fighting for people.”
“She knew her strength and beauty,” Kardashian added.
Meanwhile, Swift has a track entitled “Elizabeth Taylor” on its “The Life of a Showgirl” album released on Friday.
On the track, the Grammy Award winner mentions Portofino in Italy. There, Taylor’s ex-husband Richard Bartan proposed it in 1964.
She also sang, “I’ll make my purple cry.”
Swift and Kardashian’s Rift date back to 2016, when the latter ex-husband Kanye West drops a singer on his track “famous”, where he sings “maybe still having sex” with her.
After Swift denounced the lyrics, Kardashian claimed that West had given the singer permission to use her name on the song. When Swift denied the allegations, Kardashian released a “edited and manipulated” phone conversation between her and West.
It is eventually discovered that Swift gave permission to use her name in the song, but he has no idea what the lyrics are, and he has no idea that her naked version will be featured in the music video.
In her December 2023 cover story, Swift shared that the feud “takes her) to a place psychologically (she has never been before).”
The “Love Story” singer was also said to deal with a feud with Kardashian in the “Tortured Poets Division” track “Thank You Amy.”
