Patrick Mahomes is pumped up for Taylor Swift’s new album!
In an interview with radio host Carrington Harrison shared on Thursday, October 2, Kansas City Chief Squareback, 30, told the 96.5 listener that his team is already planning a playlist for the locker room for the lifetime of Showgirl’s release date.
“I’m very excited,” the NFL star said the eve of the album’s debut. This is the 12th full-length album of the 35-year-old pop star who was recently engaged to Mahomes’ teammate Traviskells.

“I haven’t been able to listen to the album yet, but I’m really looking forward to being able to do that,” the dads of the three added. “And that’s going to all ring out across the Chiefs facility tomorrow. We’ll support Taylor.”
He went on to say that the 14-time Grammy Award winners “had been very hard” for their future work.
Mahomes concluded, “I’m excited to hear the album just like everyone else.”
The “Love Story” singer released her 12th studio album at 12:12am on August 12th. Announcing a series of mysterious posts sent out Easter Egg Rabbit Hole, leading to rumors of a massive announcement, hours later.
She did it with the help of her 35-year-old fiancee Travis and his brother Jason Kelse.
A video posted at 12:12am in a joint teaser for Swift and Brothers’ New Heights Instagram account, “See what you did,” the singer said, “Can I show you something?”
The retired Philadelphia Eagles Center, 37, said, “Okay. What did you get? Did you get a briefcase? It comes with mint green and TS.
Jason then asked what was inside the briefcase. Swift revealed that it was her “brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl.”

Some fans believe she may have been teasing the album long before the New Heights joint was revealed.
During her ERAS tour, Swift’s Tortured Poets division track “I Can Do it Broken Heart” featured a Las Vegas-inspired costume change skit.

Kelse joined her on stage for one of her performances.
Her development includes multiple photos of Swift in Showgirl-style elaborate costumes and headdresses, as well as sultry make-up.
“And baby, it shows business for you,” reads her Instagram bio.
Showgirl’s lifespan was released in the middle of the night on October 3, 2025, with the option to move forward.
