A new three-part documentary series starring One Direction’s Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson heads to Netflix.
The original bandmate embarked on an American road trip, called a spontaneous adventure with “reconnection, exploration, lots of laughs.”
The series aims to give fans of the stars a rare look in the world of two of the most private original two directional members. In three episodes, Malik and Tomlinson engage in intimate conversations about life, love, loss and father. This comes after the death of former bandmate Liam Payne, who died in Argentina at the age of 31 in October 2024.
The show is directed by Nicola Marsh (“Song Explosiver”, “Stay On Board: The Leo Baker Story”) and produced by Campfire Studios (“Unknown Numbers: High School Catfish”; “Smartless: On the Road”; “American Lover: The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders”).
Both artists have been busy as solo acts and are teeing in the busy 2026. Malik recently unveiled a Las Vegas residency set in January next year. Tomlinson follows the release of his third studio album, “How Did I Here?” (Scheduled on January 23rd) The 2026 World Arena Tour will be released next summer.
On his upcoming album, Tomlinson said, “I put it together as ‘a record I deserve to make all the time.’ My bread is heartfelt in my sleeves.
Malik completed his own run earlier this year to support his fourth solo album, Room Own The Stairs. Last November he launched his first headline tour, “Stairway to the Sky,” with a series of shows in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. Earlier this year, he brought tour states with performances in New York City, San Francisco and Los Angeles to round out his trek in Mexico City.
