Are Mariah Carey and Eminem still beef?
During the fifth appeal match on Wednesday, October 1st, when she appeared with What Honse Hass Happend Live With Andy Cohen, Songbird Supreme was asked if she and the rapper were rebutting her role in Eminem’s autobiographical film, 8 Mile.
“The music producers claimed the real reason you and Eminem started beef this summer because he approached you about playing his mother in the eight-mile,” the 57-year-old Cohen asked Carrie.
“From what I’ve heard, there’s a truth to it, but who knows who he actually approached?” Carrie, who released the album here in September, replied.

Cohen asked if it set the “beef” on fire. “No, I mean, maybe,” Carrie replied. “It depends on what he’s thinking. I really don’t care.”
“Whatever he said, I’m not. I’m not,” she concluded. “But that’s the lyrics of rap.”
When he appeared on the TFU podcast in June, music producer Damion “Damiza” Young claimed that Eminem, 52, wanted Carrie to appear as his mother in the eight-mile period.
Carrie’s “anxieties kicked a lot,” and when she was approached by the rapper, she ended up going to Kim Bager.
The alleged feud between Carrie and Eminem dates back when Eminem claimed he and Carrie were romantically involved in the early days.
“Yes, Mariah and I had a relationship for about six or seven months,” Eminem reportedly said on his Shade 45 Channel, according to Detroit News. “(But) it didn’t work. I wasn’t really interested in what she was doing. Our personality clashed. She’s a diva and I’m a little more regular.”
“I can’t deny her talent, but the fact that she denied that something had happened to us is a bad thing,” he added.
However, Carrie denied the relationship between the two. “I played with him, I told him on the phone. I think I was probably four times with him,” Carey told Larry King in a 2002 interview. “And I don’t think it’s going to date anyone.”

In 2002, she released a song called “Clown.” This implies that Eminem’s relationship claims. “You should never have seduced us that we were lovers.
A few years later, in 2006, Eminem called Carrie with the song “Jimmy Crackcorn” by name. “Your heart rests on us like Mariah / and y’all is like her, you are all a liar.”

Many fans believe Carrie swings with Eminem in the 2009 “obsessed” music video, where she was dressed as a stalker in response to his past lyrics.
He responded in 2009 with the song “The Warning” and called out his then husband, Nick Cannon.
“Are I crazy about it now? Ah, it should be me in the video with Goat Beard,” Eminem raps. “Wow Mariah, I didn’t expect her to get the ball out. Bitch, close the f and close before you make all the calls you’ve made to my house when you were in the wild before Nick.”
