Taylor Swift gave an emotional and entertaining speech at her wedding with her best friend and “sister” Selena Gomez’s Benny Blanco.
Gomez, 33, and Blanco, 37, married Saturday at Seacrest Nursery in Santa Barbara, California, and are surrounded by about 170 loved ones, including Swift.
At one point during the ceremony, the pop superstar, who was engaged to Traviskells last month, “jokingly made a speech about Serena beating her to the altar, but at least they both found love in life,” according to the Daily Mail.
At one point it was humorous, but the speech was “so beautiful” overall, so the bride and several guests “crying” following the exit.
“I’ve always had Serena’s back and the way they’re sisters — and while Serena considers Taylor as her sister, Taylor sees Serena as teaching her a lot.”
The second source said that 35 singers from “Blank Space” “also spoke about how she and Serena went through so much together, both professionally and personally (and) when one of them broke their hearts from a long-standing, failed relationship, they always said they were there for each other.”
Swift reportedly told the guest that the “los you to love me” diva “is finally fine when she realizes that she is and that she’s focused on her falling in love with Benny.
She called the music producer swing “the most perfect person” to her peers.
“We’re not lucky they found each other. It’s love,” she added, according to the outlet.
Swift also reportedly described the newlyweds as the “perfect pair.”
Gomez and Blanco began dating in the summer of 2023, as did the Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs.
When Gomez and Blanco announced their engagement in December 2024, Swift publicly joked that she would become their flower girl.
