Teyana Taylor is “safe” in her romance with Aaron Pierre.
On Tuesday, September 24th, episode of Sheri, the upcoming actress, 34-year-old fight, was asked how she enjoys her love nickname “Apple Pie,” which uses his initials.
“Luther (Vandross) said, “It’s not too many,” right? “The “Maybe” singer told host Sheri Shepherd before temporarily breaking into the song. “Too many apple pie.”
Taylor and Pierre were in charge of Instagram relationships in June 2025 after months of flirting with each other on social media.

Taylor went on to add that every time he is argued, he’s “all blushing.”
“It feels good, and it feels good to feel good,” she continued.
The 58-year-old Shepherd kicks things up by calling Pierre “an apple pie in LA mode” and asking guests how single women can find romances as sweet as Taylor.
“The most important thing is, wherever you come from, whether it’s a heartbreak, the best thing is to be willing to love armor,” he said, “Burn it out with me.” Taylor, who previously married former NBA player Iman Shumpert, confirmed their split in January 2023.

She and her ex-husband are the parents of two daughters.
“If you built a wall, it would hinder your blessings, do you know? And it may not be who he is,” Taylor continued. “So I walk straight and it’s like I’m not equipped.
Shepherd then asks one after another about the “sexual chemistry” with the “legendary Leonardo DiCaprio,” and Taylor replies that it was her “work.”
“I can’t say that was my job, mom!” Shepherd joked about the intense make-out sessions of Academy Award-winning star, 50-year-old Taylor.
However, the singer responded perfectly.

“Baby, have you seen my apple pie?” Taylor said, emphasizing her gratitude to Pierre. “My eyes are in my awards, right?”
“My eyes are looking at my awards, so when I step on the set, I’m here to do my job. I’m a team player. We’re all players on this team and we’re here to win.

Shepherd also asked Taylor how Pierre handled her intimate camera moments.
“I mean, we’re both very safe,” Taylor said. “And when we understand what an award is, we’re not worried about whether someone is outside that award trying to find another award.”
