CJ Enm’s time-skipping romantic comedy “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” has been top of Netflix’s global top 10 non-English shows category for two weeks in a row, creating a recipe for success.
Studio Dragon Productions stars Lim Yoon A. Yongyong is the perfect French chef who serves himself as the Royal Cook to Yonghee-Gun, known as the worst tyrant and most demanding gourmet food. This series continues Ji-young’s daily survival through the art of culinary excellence.
Since its debut, “BonAppétit, Your Mass Under” has shown steady momentum on streaming platforms. The series initially came in fourth in Netflix’s global non-English rankings after Netflix’s premiere, and rose to second in the second and three weeks. The rise to the top spot of the show for the fourth and five weeks represents a milestone achievement for the Korean entertainment giant.
International success is reflected in strong local performances. In the 10th episode of the series, the average household viewer peaked at 17.6% with 15.9%, earning the top spot among the same time slot dramas and setting a new personal best.
