Elon Musk’s estranged father, Errol Musk, is accused of sexually abusing his five children and stepchildren.
A New York Times bomb investigation found that the former politician vehemently denied the allegations — and his billionaire son had a tense relationship due to accusations of child sexual abuse from several relatives.
According to police and court records, personal communications, social workers and interviews.
Errol, a member of the family obtained by the outlet, was accused of abuse in South Africa and California.
The oldest claim that allegedly occurred in 1993 was that at the time, Errol’s stepdaughter Jana Bezidenhout (who was only four years old), allegedly told the family that Errol had inappropriately touched her.
Ten years later, Bezuidenhout told the family that Errol was told he smelled dirty underwear when he went to the bedroom for a sweatshirt. Her relatives were called police and Elon and were also notified of the incident.
Errol denied the claim, saying that he was cleaning his stepdaughter’s room because the house was in “bad condition.”
The parent-relative also accused Errol of abusing his two daughters and son-in-law.
Errol also denied the allegations, telling the New York Times that he allegedly abused his step-son and two daughters.
The former member of the progressive Federal Party and his stepdaughter, who is said to have been abused, are said to have become close when their two children were together in their late 20s.
In 2022, his then-5-year-old son was said to have Errol grabbed his butt.
“He said, ‘Daddy will search for him behind,'” Errol’s third wife and Jana’s mother, Heide Mari Bezuiden, reportedly texted his relatives around 2023, according to the New York Times. “He cried, ‘No, Dad.”
A relative of a young child contacted the police. However, the case was removed by the prosecutor due to insufficient evidence.
“There was no evidence because this was nonsense,” Errol told NYT, claiming that “the report is extremely false and nonsense.”
He also allegedly made up of relatives who were allegedly placed to get money from Elon “to tell the children something false.”
Errol, 79, told the New York Times that he only recognized one allegation of abuse, but provided an explanation for two other cases. He has not been convicted of a crime.
The family told the outlet that some relatives were allegedly leaning against Elon for help. In 2023, Tesla CEO, 54, reportedly paid about $1,700 a month to support his former step-sister.
Elon representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
