Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for Near Dacosta’s “The Bone Temple 28 Years Later.”
The film follows events of “28 Years Later” and is followed by picking up after Spike (Alfie Williams) is introduced to post-apocalyptic Britain by Jimmy Crystal (Jack O’Connell) and his Gang of Acrobatic Killers. “Dr. Kelson (Ralph Fiennes) finds himself in a shocking new relationship with the consequences that could change the world as they know, and Spike’s encounter with Jimmy Crystal becomes a nightmare that he cannot escape.” “In the world of “Bone Temple” infections are no longer the biggest threat to survival. The inhumanity of survivors is a stranger and even more frightening. ”
Syrian Murphy appeared briefly in the film, reshaping his role as gym in “28 Days Later” along with stars Fiennes, Emma Laird, Maura Bird, Erin Kellyman and Chi Lewis Parry.
Murphy only has a few roles in the second film, but executive producer and director Danny Boyle “28 Years Later” revealed to Variety that Murphy will become “the giant character in the third film.” Boyle also confirmed that O’Connell and Ferns will play a bigger role in “Twenty-eight Years Later Bone Temple” and establish more mainland plots that were briefly touched on in the first film.
“28 Years After: The Bone Temple” was written and produced by Alex Garland. The sequel is an executive produced by Boyle, Andrew McDonald, Peter Rice and Bernie Bellow. Colombian photos, DNA films and decibel films produced the film, and Sony Pictures distributed the features.
