It’s that time of year again.
Hollywood’s biggest stars are set to celebrate film and television’s biggest crowns at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 11th.
The nominees include Leonardo DiCaprio, Jesse Buckley, Jennifer Lawrence, Timothée Chalamet, Jeremy Allen White, Oscar Isaac, Chase Infinity, Cynthia Erivo, Britt Lauer, Rhea Seehorn, Seth Rogen, and Noah Wyle.
This year’s show also features the Globe’s first Best Podcast category, giving podcast hosts like Alex Cooper and Mel Robbins a chance to compete against film and TV heavyweights.
In another first for the Globes, this year the inaugural “Golden Eve” special aired on CBS and Paramount+ on Thursday, Jan. 8, as part of the network’s new “Golden Week” event preceding the main ceremony.
Matthew Broderick presented this year’s Carol Burnett Award to his wife Sarah Jessica Parker in the first-ever primetime special, and Harrison Ford presented this year’s Cecil B. DeMille Award to Helen Mirren.

When is the show?
The 2026 Golden Globe Awards will be broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 11th at 8pm ET.
Where can I watch or stream the ceremony?
The show will air live on CBS at 8pm ET and stream on Paramount+. It is scheduled to end three hours later at 11pm ET.
Who is hosting it?
Nikki Glazer became the first woman to host the awards ceremony solo last year, and will host the Golden Globes again in 2026.
Glazer, 41, trashed her own hosting debut, using her opening monologue to poke fun at some of the most famous people in the room, including Ariana Grande, Zendaya, Ford and Glen Powell.
“Hosting this year’s Golden Globe Awards was without a doubt the most fun of my career,” she said in a statement after her return was confirmed.
“I can’t wait to do it again, and this time in front of the team at The White Lotus who have finally recognized my talent and cast me in Season 4 as a Scandinavian Pilates instructor with a dark past,” Glaser added.
But in a chat with CBS Mornings ahead of the big night, the comedian explained that he plans to be more “subtle” with his jokes this time around.
“But I also want to give people at home something to laugh about, and I want to make fun of people who are looking forward to being made fun of,” she explained. “It’s like the people at home want you to make fun of the A-listers. They want you to make them a little uncomfortable.”
“We do it in secret because we want to be able to crack jokes without disrupting the atmosphere in the room,” Glazer added. “This is really strategic and one of the most difficult jobs I’ve ever had.”
Who will be nominated this year?
“One Battle After Another” leads the night’s overall nominations with nine nominations, including acting nominations for DiCaprio and Infinity and a directing nomination for Paul Thomas Anderson.
