Tippi Hedren is 96 years old!
The actress started out as a model before getting her big break when she was discovered by director Alfred Hitchcock and starred in the 1963 classic The Birds. Since then, Hedren has appeared in other films such as Marnie, Murder in the Eyes, and Pacific Heights.
In 1957, Hedren and her then-husband Peter Griffiths had a daughter, Melanie, who went on to have a successful career in Hollywood. Melanie was the star of films such as Joy Ride, Paradise and Mulholland Falls, and although she welcomed her first daughter, Dakota Johnson, in 1989, she remains a leading lady.
As Hedren celebrates her 96th birthday, check out the special moments three generations of actresses have shared in public over the years.
