“XO, Kitty” Season 3 has soared to the top of the Netflix TV charts, with 12.9 million views in its first four days on the streamer.
The young adult series, a romantic-dramatic spin-off of the To All the Boys film trilogy, was rebroadcast on April 2nd and secured number one in the UK TV charts for the week commencing March 30th.
It was followed by horror series Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, which remained in second place for the second week in a row with 6.9 million views. The show stars Camila Morrone and Adam DiMarco and hails from creator Haley Z. Boston and executive producers the Duffer Brothers (Stranger Things).
The limited series “The Predator of Seville” came in third place, and “One Piece” Season 2 has remained in the top 10 since its release on March 10, rising to fourth place with 3.5 million views.
Topping the UK movie charts was Sony Pictures’ reboot Anaconda, starring Jack Black and Paul Rudd, with 9.9 million views, followed by sports documentary series Untold: The Death and Life of Lamar Odom in second place with 8.4 million views.
Rounding out the top five on the movie chart are The Truth and Tragedy of Moriah Wilson, 40 Acres, and War Machine.
On non-English TV, “Detective Hole” Season 1 topped the charts with 6.9 million views, followed by “Bloodhound” Season 2 and “Radioactive Emergency” Season 1. Also on the list were “Humint,” “Eat Pray Bark,” and “Red Line.”
